Espionage in Finance Ministry, providing classified data to foreign countries : 1 arrest

Yet another espionage network busted by Delhi police and this time it's related to Ministry of Finance.

Delhi Police Crime Branch has busted an espionage network invoked in leaking sensitive info related to the Ministry of Finance.

As per news media ANI's report, in the ministry a contractual employee Sumit, a data entry operator was arrested for espionage activities in lieu of money & providing classified data to foreign countries.

During his search, one mobile phone, which was being used by him for sharing secret information related to the Ministry of Finance, was recovered from his possession.

The contractual employee Sumit has been arrested and a case registered under the Official Secrets Act says Delhi Police Crime Branch.
